But I really, really, dislike Christmas shopping. Went into town with Alex today and faced the horrendous crowds of people rushing around like the shops aren't going to be open UNTIL TEN O'CLOCK TONIGHT. Slow down for God's sake.
I hardly got any actual gift-buying done. These are the gifts I have to buy:
Flat Secret Santa
- Home Secret Santa
Mum
- Dad
- Nan
- Grandad
- Lucy (my sister)
- Amy (my sister)
- Adam (my brother)
So you can see how well I have done. Some would say I have a rather easy list, but really it's not. Argh, I hate having to actually go shopping. Working in retail has completely ruined the therapeutic shopping experience. Going shopping, to me, is now like a bus driver taking himself on a road trip. HATE IT. When I finish work I just cannot wait to get away from the place, I do not want to have to traipse round after people who clearly believe they're at home lolling around in their slippers, and being knocked over by those who are terrified the last pair of novelty socks are going to be bought before they get to the shop.
I hate shopping.
I'd better get most of it done online before I screw.
Help me.
P.S. Apologies for the lack of posts. I did not go out this weekend due to the need to revise and do essays (I did neither), therefore have had nothing to report. And now I am under the pressure of having to bust out the essays in less than a week.
P.P.S. I appeared to do more shopping than just get two gifts though. I also bought 4 deodorants (PoundLand special offer then my favourite smelling one was in Wilkinsons), notebooks, Sellotape (yes actual Sellotape), gift tags, wrapping paper, batteries and eye make up remover. Perhaps I am just really selfish.
